Title: Limiting Free Mass Transit for Seniors

Vote to pass a bill that changes the current free ride system to include free rides for senior citizens aged 65 and older making less than $27,610 for individuals, or $36,635 for couples, per year, and half priced rides for any other senior citizens.

Highlights:

-Amends the following acts to include the fee wavier eligibility for senior citizens aged 65 and older (Secs. 5 -- 20):

    -The Downstate Public Transportation Act; and -The Metropolitan Transit Authority Act; and -The Local Mass Transit District Act; and -The Regional Transportation Authority Act.
-Specifies that the transportation providers have up to 180 days after passage to put these fairs into effect (Secs. 5 -- 20). -Specifies that the Department of Aging shall furnish all information necessary to determine eligibility of such fee waivers (Secs. 5 -- Sec. 20).
