Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that transfers funds to the Budget Contingency Fund to restore certain amounts that were previously cut from the fiscal year 2010 budget.

Highlights:

-Transfers $79 million to the Budget Contingency Fund during fiscal year 2010 from the following funds (Sec. 1):

-$69 million from the Health Care Expendable Fund; -$5 million from the Public Service Commission; and -$5 million from the Mississippi Adequate Education Program.

-Transfers the aforementioned $79 million from the Budget Contingency Fund to the following (Sec. 1):

-$929,000 to trial judges; -$567,300 to the Supreme Court; and -$203,700 to the Court of Appeals.

-Transfers $1 million from the Mississippi Adequate Education Program budget to the School District Emergency Assistance Fund during fiscal year 2010 (Sec. 3).
