Vote to pass a concurrent resolution that formally admonishes and censures Gov. Marshall "Mark" Sanford for alleged misconduct at the expense of South Carolina taxpayers.

Highlights:
-Specifies that Gov. Sanford was in or in transit to Argentina at the expense of South Carolina taxpayers, while engaging in conduct that "in no way related to the interests of South Carolina citizens" or was "unrelated to the duties of his office," during the following periods:
    -June 23, 2008 through June 27, 2008; and -June 18, 2009 through June 24, 2009.
-Specifies that Gov. Sanford neglected to notify the Lieutenant Governor of his extended absence from the state of South Carolina and the country during the 2009 trip. -Specifies that Gov. Sanford deliberately evaded South Carolina Law Enforcement Division agents that are assigned to him for his safety in order to be absent from the state during the 2009 trip. -Specifies that Gov. Sanford directed his staff to mislead public officials and the general public of the state of South Carolina as where the Governor was during the 2009 trip. -Alleges that Gov. Sanford misused the state aircraft for duties and purposes unrelated to his office and the state of South Carolina, but instead for personal or political purposes. -Alleges that Gov. Sanford's actions transgressed the trust of South Carolinians have or had in his ability to the hold the chief office. -Alleges that Gov. Sanford "brought ridicule, dishonor, disgrace, and shame not only upon [himself] but to the state of South Carolina and its citizens."
